Checked Otaku Republic, out of stock. Nowhere to be found anywhere else. Already requested Otaku Republic to restock, but who knows how long that will take.:P If found, I can definitely translate, but I'm not too confident in my editing skills to do a full blown scanslation (I suck at editing.) This is a public post meant to be visible for non-members upon initially discovering this site. It has been expressed to me by multiple individuals recently that they initially thought this page was inactive because they were not seeing any releases. This is, of course, because they were not aware they needed to create an LJ account and then JOIN the community to access content. Going to bump this so anyone new here can still see it. Like Willeke said, we have enough editors now (thank you VERY much by the way!), but what we're looking for now are additional translators.

Willeke is our sole translator right now, so she has a very heavy workload. If anyone here is able and willing to lend her a hand, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone! As you might have noticed, Japanese artists still keep writing more and more amazing doujinshi! It's become so much that abru1988 and I are unable to keep up with everything.

We now have a huge backlog of older doujinshi that still need to be translated and edited, and more new doujinshi keeps coming out as well. So we're looking for the following people who are willing to help us out with creating scanlations for this community: - Editors: People who clean the raw scans and do the typesetting. So basically you erase Japanese text from the picture and put the English text to it, while referring to a text-only translation file you got from the translator. Preferably the same person should be able to do cleaning AND typesetting, because it's easier to typeset something which you've also cleaned yourself, and it greatly simplifies the scanlation process. We use the free image editing software 'Paint.net' for editing, but you can use any program you like, as long as you use fonts which are appropriate for manga.

I don't want to sound repetitive because I know I've said it before, but please, PLEASE PLEASE cut it out!! Do not redistribute any doujinshi from locked post in this community! You probably have no idea how harmful this is. Not only to people (possibly minors!!) who might stumble upon adult doujinshi while they're NOT looking for things like that, but also to the original artists, and to doujinshi fans themselves. Let me quote from: ' Fiction: Doujinshi creators want more people reading their work. Fact: It's important to understand the Japanese need for discretion, something which seems to be difficult for a lot of westerners to grasp.

The reason that the parody doujinshi market is allowed to thrive the way it does is based on the artists respecting the wishes of the creators and not getting carried away by success, and part of this involves controlling the circulation of their work so that it doesn't cause the original creators of a series any trouble. I have never met a doujinshi artist who wants their parody work to be widely known outside of the community of fans they created it for. They do benefit from greater exposure to their original and authorised projects, but unauthorised parodies are supposed to be handled with discretion. This unspoken rule is at the heart of why Japanese copyright holders can peacefully coexist with doujinshi circles, and it's also why large scale digital distribution of unauthorised doujinshi scans is seen as such a serious problem.' So in other words, the doujinshi authors may get in serious trouble if the copyright holders of the characters and series they're parodying, are easily able to find their works online.

In that case they will be forced to quit their activities (And so, we wouldn't get any doujinshi from them anymore at all!) I don't agree with everything in the above post though. For one, I think it is okay to make doujinshi more accessible to non-Japanese speaking fans, especially when the doujinshi in question are out of print or otherwise impossible to find and buy. It's fine to enjoy doujinshi, and if you want to share the enjoyment with your friends, that's fine too, but DISCRETION is still the keyword!!!

If you want to share, please direct people to this community, or send the doujinshi to your friends in PRIVATE, not on public websites!!!! I don't want to start working with passwords or anything, because that'd be so bothersome for all of us, and it still wouldn't be 100% fool proof. So all I can do is explain the reasoning behind the rule, and hope that everyone here is enough of a civilized human being to understand it. Most of you are probably really awesome about this, but as long as there is as much as one person not following this simple rule, they are at risk of ruining everything for everyone else.

So please, please understand this, so that we may be able to share and enjoy many more amazing doujinshi in 2015! I have found few doujinshi surfing around internet. And I am willing to translate them. I have 3-4 doujinshi with me of various pairings.

I really want someone to translate them for me. If someone translates them, I am completely willing to do the job of typesetting. I don’t remember proper information of scanlator or anyone right now. But it is available with me.
