Now I am able to launch Chrome with -user-data-dir parameter to use a Chrome profile, which is different frome the default one. Chrome browser In my Ubuntu was installed to /opt/google/chrome/, so the full command for launching it with the 'other' profile is: /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome -user-data-dir =/.config/google-chrome/other I created new shortcut launching Chrome with the above string and changed its icon to some custom one. I also changed the theme for Chrome with 'other' profile to visually distinct 'other' and 'default' instances of Chrome, when they are running simultaneously. As the result I have an opportunity to launch up to 4 accounts per web service (2 in usual mode and 2 in incognito). Now if I only could find a way to use different profiles through side-tabs, it would be just perfect.
